About Me:

My name is Eloise Reid and I am currently a dual degree Masters student at the University of Michigan. I am earning both a Masters of Urban Planning at the Tuabman School of Urban and Regional Planning and an Masters of Science from the School for Environment and Sustainability (SEAS), where my primary academic focus is Environmental Justice and Planning.

I am currently finalizing a thesis which explores environmental gentrification through a case-study approach entitled “Green Gentrification in Gentilly: A Case Study on the Gentilly Resilience District, New Orleans, Louisiana” with Dr. Dorceta Taylor as my primary thesis advisor. Dr. Tony Reames, Dr. Larissa Larsen, and Dr. Isabelle Anguelovski who founded and directs the Barcelona Laboratory for Urban Environmental Justice and Sustainability.
